JUAN CRISTOBAL SILVA GIMENEZ
He is a lawyer graduated from the Faculty of Legal and Diplomatic Sciences of the Catholic University “Nuestra Señora de la Asunción,” with extensive experience in both the public and private sectors, particularly in legal advisory, institutional management, and judicial practice. He began his professional career in the Judiciary, where he served for seven years in various positions, including trainee, court usher, and secretary in first-instance courts in civil, commercial, and labor matters. Subsequently, he developed a long career at the Rural Welfare Institute, serving as General Secretary and Legal Advisor, eventually holding the position of Director of Legal Affairs for several years. In the field of public administration, he also served as Legal Advisor to the Minister at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and as Treasury Lawyer at the Ministry of Finance. In the private sector, he was part of the Livieres Guggiari Law Firm, where he worked as Coordinator of the advisory and judicial areas for more than a decade. He also served as Special Advisor to the Director General of ITAIPU Binacional. He has also participated in the drafting and updating of legislative projects related to the agrarian system and the institutional framework of the Rural Welfare Institute. He currently practices independently, providing legal advice and support in civil, administrative, and institutional matters.
